# Springcast: podcast platform for creators and organizations Language: en Source: https://www.springcast.io/en/ English version: https://www.springcast.io/en/agent-context.txt ## In plain language Springcast is a European podcast platform. It stores your episodes, sends public shows to podcast apps, offers private and internal podcasts, and reports how your episodes are played. Creators use it to publish and grow their own show. Organizations use it to reach customers, members or employees, including employees who listen in a private mobile app. Springcast B.V. is based in the Netherlands, and 2,000+ organizations use Springcast. A few terms used below: - **Podcast hosting**: storing your audio files and publishing them for listeners. - **RSS feed**: a web link that podcast apps such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts read to show and play your new episodes. - **Show**: a podcast series made up of episodes. ## When Springcast fits - **You make your own podcast.** Creator plans (Essential, Professional and Scale) combine hosting, distribution to 15+ platforms in total, a podcast website, an embeddable player, video snippets and analytics. - **Your organization runs public shows.** Company plans add several teams, invoicing, procurement support and data-protection documentation. - **You want to reach employees.** Springcast Mobile is a private app for internal podcasts and video, available in Company and Enterprise. Colleagues without a company mailbox can join with a personal email address. - **You train or onboard people.** Springcast LMS turns audio, video and text into courses with tests. It is an add-on to Company and available in Enterprise. - **You serve a closed group**, such as members or course participants. Private podcasting gives each listener a personal link. Springcast does not sell advertising for you, run a sponsorship marketplace or guarantee earnings. ## How it works in practice 1. Create a show, upload an episode, add a title and description, and publish now or on a chosen date. 2. For a public show, submit your RSS feed to the podcast apps you want. Each app checks the feed for new episodes. You also get a podcast website and a player you can embed on your own site. 3. For a private show, choose a link-only (hidden) podcast, a members-only podcast with personal listening links, or an internal podcast in Springcast Mobile with access by invitation or company login. 4. Review your analytics, which update daily. ## Capabilities with practical value - **Distribution and a home on the web**: one feed for 15+ platforms in total, plus your own podcast website and player. - **Promotion**: turn a moment from an episode into a short portrait video for social media, on every Creator plan. - **Written content**: from Professional, transcripts and Sky AI credits to draft show notes, articles and posts that you review before publishing. - **Video**: from Professional, video hosting on your own player and publishing to YouTube. - **Analytics**: downloads and episode trends on every plan, more detail from Professional, and Social Analytics, Custom Data, API and MCP access on Scale. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way to connect an AI assistant to other software, so you can ask it questions about your own podcast data. ## Conditions and limits - **Creator plans**: every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required. Episodes and downloads are unlimited. Essential has no transcripts, and they cannot be added. Storage, video traffic and AI credits are plan-based, not unlimited. - **Company and Enterprise**: priced by quote. Company runs on a one-year contract billed by annual invoice; it does not renew automatically, and you receive a new quote first. Company Light does not include Springcast Mobile. - **Data residency**: "Our applications run in the Netherlands, Germany and Finland." Video hosting: EU infrastructure. - **Security**: ISO/IEC 27001:2022, independently certified by Brand Compliance under RvA accreditation (C 548). - Prices and plan contents can change. The pricing pages show the current terms. ## Questions that help you choose - Should anyone be able to listen, only a known group, or only employees? - Do you need video, transcripts or social reporting? - Will one person run the show, or several teams? ## Sources and next step - Platform overview: https://www.springcast.io/en/platform/ - Creator plans and prices: https://www.springcast.io/en/pricing/creator/ - Plans for organizations: https://www.springcast.io/en/pricing/company/ - Security and ISO documentation: https://www.springcast.io/en/legal/security-iso/ - Contact: https://www.springcast.io/en/contact/
