Privacy statement
Springcast is GDPR-compliant, EEA-hosted, and built privacy-first. This statement explains what we process, why, and the rights you have.

What we process

Lawful bases
We process personal data to perform our contract with you, to pursue legitimate interests (securing and improving the platform), and on the basis of consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies).
Where your data lives
Processing for the core functionality of our podcast platform takes place within the European Economic Area. Our applications run in the Netherlands, Germany and Finland. Audio, video and artwork are delivered through a CDN in the Netherlands, statistics are processed in the Netherlands, and backups are held in the Netherlands and Germany. No podcast data is transferred to the US for core platform functionality.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

A full Data Processing Agreement is available, and we maintain a public sub-processor register.
Our vision of privacy
We are a stakeholder-focused company: we weigh the interests of everyone affected by our decisions. Your privacy, and that of your listeners, matters to us, so we are as transparent as possible about what we do with your data. We use data solely to benefit our stakeholders or, at the very least, to avoid causing harm. We never sell your privacy-sensitive data. For advertising measurement, we share click identifiers and conversion events with Google with your consent, as described below.
Cookies & third-party tools we use
For an up-to-date overview of all cookies, use the “Change your consent” toggle in the lower-left corner of the site. The tools we rely on:

- ✓ LinkedIn advertising measurement — with your marketing consent, we measure confirmed guide and contact requests using an event pixel. Privacy policy →
- ✓ FirstPromoter — tracks referrals from our affiliates and partners. Privacy policy →
- ✓ YouTube (optional) — only if you connect a Google account via OAuth, to enable features you turn on (e.g. upload to your channel, channel/video analytics). We do not sell Google user data, use it for targeted advertising, or train AI models on it. You can disconnect in Springcast or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
With your consent, we store advertising click data to measure which ads lead to enquiries and customers. For Google Ads, we share the click identifier and the corresponding conversion event with Google. You can change or withdraw your marketing consent through our cookie banner.
For LinkedIn, we send a conversion signal after your marketing consent when a guide or contact request is confirmed. The pixel may transmit your IP address, browser information and LinkedIn cookie data. We do not include your name, email address or form contents in the conversion signal.
Retention & contact
